We are a week into our contest and officially have our first five entries. We’ve heard some great ideas and are excited to get even more. Here’s a glimpse into what some of our contestants are saying.

Designer Ambitions

This 14-year old aspiring designer from Canada has big dreams of making an impact. For her bedroom, she decided to use our Heritage Black and White wallpaper on her five wall room. Yes, you read that correctly. She likes our wallpaper so much that she needed a fifth wall to cover.

As for wall art, she decided to go with our Lamp and Butterfly Acrylic mirrors to “give [my] room a playful look.” Finally, she chose our After Dinner Mint and Isle of White designer paint to top off her design overhaul.

“I want to decorate my room in a classical, yet timeless way,” she wrote in her entry. We think your ideas put you well on your way.

Loyal Customer

This individual is a repeat customer of ours and has been using our products on projects for years because of the vibrant colors, textures, and exclusive designs we provide (oh stop, you’re making us blush).

For this large open room, the contestant knew they had a lot of space to fill to keep the room from looking empty. For this reason, they selected Chinoise Blue and Gold wallpaper to, “give the illusion of a solid color wall, but the impact of the metallic pattern.”

Moving onto our contemporary wall art, the contestant chose to layer three of our Lhasa Lotus in Teal printings. “I know it sounds a little crazy to layer metallic teal on top of metallic teal […] but we love to [mix] things up!” Mix away, loyal customer. Mix away.

Big Hearted Family

This participant has decided to employ the use of both fashion and function. This room for two sleeps a two and three year old comfortably, but our contestant wants to overhaul the color selection to help their daughters rest more easily.

For their daughters’ room, they decided to use Isabelle blue wallpaper to help relax the environment of the room. “We have a lot of trouble with trying to get [them] to fall asleep.” Your selections so far will relax any restless youngster. They also chose the relaxing Floral Britannia wall art to remind the girls of their British heritage. Finally, the contestant chose Cool Britannia designer paint to create a sky-like effect on the ceiling, and the calmer Princess to Be for the walls.
